Project realized under the UV CP51. The plan to colonize the red planet is under way. Today’s engineers are preparing concepts for the Martian colonists of tomorrow. We wondered how the settlers on Mars will be able to route flows of products or people from one Base to another or explore the planet. As part of the UV CP51 we proposed the solution of the “Martian Crawler”, a Biomimetic Martian Rover Deployable. A modular vehicle able to integrate directly with the bases. Its mobility is done by means of legs to adapt to the ground and it can deploy deformable wheels if it is on a suitable ground. It also has telescopic solar panels and the volume of its cabin can adapt to situations. Together let’s bring some Earth to Mars!
